「從理想到實踐：展覽實務研習工作坊計畫」，是特別針對展覽實作所開設的實務工作坊，內容涵蓋展場空間規劃、作品陳設、多媒體設置以及燈光設計等等各項展務內容，透過一系列相關培訓課程以及實務經驗講座，引導學員如何將概念理想落實於展覽現場，提供參與者多元的展覽實踐研習，培育一線工作者的實戰力，並促進展覽實務經驗的交流。
本次工作坊分別規劃有三大主題。
「展覽現場」，邀請到雜學校創辦人蘇仰志、國內知名展場燈光設計何仲昌、視盟秘書長陳小雜、OVKLAB設計總監莊哲瑋等四位講師，從展務各項執行環節切入，是為通盤性的導論課程。
「國際講堂」，邀集韓國策展人朴昶緒、來自冰島的Mireya Samper、2017威尼斯雙年展日本館策展人鷲田梅洛等三位，將為大家帶來各國最新的策展與展場工作經驗。
「專業聚焦」，則有千鳥藝術、凹焦影像工作室凌瑋隆、灰色地帶藝術家陳嘉壬、蔡年玨、莊立豪等三場工作坊及座談，著重在作品、媒體、裝置與空間的互為關係，進而構成理想展陳方案，適合具有展場工作經驗者的進階實作課程。
“From Plans to Practices -- Art Installation Workshop” is a practical workshop focusing on art installation practices, including how to layout the space, how to place the works, how to settle multimedia installation, and lighting techniques. Through a series of training sessions and forums, it leads the trainees to put their ideal concepts into practice at the exhibition venue. It also offers multiple sources for them to gain more experience and enhance their proficiency in art installation, allowing them to share their experience with each other.
There are three topics in this series of workshops.
Exhibition Practices invites the founder of Za Share, Ozzie SU, well-known exhibition lighting expert, HO Chung-Chang, Secretary-General of Association of the Visual Arts in Taiwan (AVAT), CHEN Hsiau-Tsa, art director of OVKLAB, CHUNG Che-Wei to talk about art installation from different aspects; a general introduction to art installation practices.
International Forum recruits Korean curator, PARK Chang-Seo, Icelandic curator, Mireya SAMPER, curator of Japan Pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2017, Meruro WASHIDA to bring in the latest curatorial experience overseas.
Meet the Professionals has a lineup of Thousand Bird Arts, LIN Wei-Lung from Lane 216 East Studio, artist CHEN Chia-Jen, TSAI Nian-Jue, CHUNG Li-Hao from Grey Area to host three workshops and talks, highlighting the correlation between works, mediums, installation, and space to present ideal exhibitions. This is advanced session targeting experienced practitioners.
